Amazing Love Health Services (ALHS) not only has a commitment to our consumers’ health issues, but we care about the ward 6 citizens and the DC community-at-large.  Because we care we participate in many community activities including the following:

• Career Day is hosted each spring and fall by Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen. ALHS’ participation assists in identifying individuals, in our community, find employment.  Over 200 employers participate by interviewing persons on-site, and many applicants have been hired immediately. • Each year ALHS, on the day before Thanksgiving, participates in the Safeway Feast of Sharing. Our staff celebrates the season of giving by assisting in feeding over 3000 people, in need, with a free Thanksgiving Dinner and offering free health screenings. Should you be interested in participating in the dinner, please contact Gwendolyn Hemphill, Public Relations, at 202-388-8500. Invitations are open to our consumers and the community.
• Because We Care, one of our biggest joys is, on an annual basis, ALHS extends a helping hand to our consumers and the community by providing free Thanksgiving Turkeys. Each year, before Thanksgiving, we will post information concerning the date and time of the turkey distribution, and we welcome you.
