Dr. Sandrine Tankeu
Clinical Laboratory Director
Dr. Sandrine Tankeu, is a dedicated Research and Clinical Laboratory Scientist with more than 10 years of experience in coordinating clinical and research laboratories, training key laboratory personnel, and whose scientific work is recognized in more than twenty peer-reviewed publications. She received her M.S. in Biology and her Ph.D. in Microbiology/Hematology with honors from the Alberts-Ludwig University of Freiburg (Germany), before working for the University of North Carolina (UNC, Chapel Hill, NC) as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. Because of her outstanding research endeavors, she received a Career Development Award from the “Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America” (CCFA, New York, NY) to perform independent scientific investigations. She has experience working in many settings, including private research institutions, academic centers, and a biotech industry. She is passionate about research and clinical practice in the fields of pediatrics and psychiatry. She believes that person-centered care and whole-person wellness, including emotional, vocational, and physical wellness are essential to achieving the best care outcomes. She is a native French and German speaker, a caring clinician, and an attentive mentor.

Mrs. Longtchi is a board certified nurse with Registered Nurse Licenses in Washington DC, Maryland, and New Jersey. She has over 20 years experience as a Pediatric and Adult Health Nurse in private, non-profit, and public areas. She received her nursing certificate in Cameroon over two-and-half decades ago, and since then, she has been practicing nursing in Cameroon and USA. Prior to joining ALHS, she served in various nursing capacities in Cameroon, Maryland, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. She is a patient-rights advocate with excellent communication and organizational skills. She is a good team player, displays strong leadership skills, has the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple work assignments.
